Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Takes Home The Gold! |

Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Club had a great showing at the 2010 Pan Am Tournament held this year for its first time at UC Irvine. We took home a total of
5 medals, 3 being gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. We like to congratulate all the competitors for their hard training and effort they put it to compete
at one of the largest tournaments in the world.

Marcus Vinicius Returns as Head Ref To Jungle Fight 18 |

Jungle Fight 18 was recently held in Sao Paulo Brazil. Once again Marcus Vinicius was asked to return as head referee for the event.
Jungle Fight promoter Wallid Ismail has confirmed four additional editions of Jungle Fight in the next four months so look out for Marcus
to take control of the cage again.

BHJJC Inhouse tournament & Purple Belt Graduate Scott Caan! |

Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu hosted an inhouse tournament that invited other gyms in the local area to compete. Many great fights took place and our own
Scott Caan took 1st place in the Blue Belt division. Scott was awarded his purple belt during the award ceremony by BHJJC master, Marcus Vinicius.
Congratulations to Scott for his hard training and devotion to advance in the sport of jiu-jitsu.

Congratulations to all US Open XIV Competitors! |

Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Club had a great showing at the US Open XIV in Santa Cruz CA. Mike Brady took first place in the Brown Belt Senior Division and Open Senior Divisions.
Alex Ballesteros finshed 3rd place in the Brown Belt Master Division
2Fight Films also made its debut during this tournament. 2Fight Films is a video service that films jiu-jitsu tournament matches.

The longest running North American Jiu-Jitsu tournament is back. The US Open hosted Claudio Franca Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has been set for October 17 & 18.
It will be held this year again at the Civic Auditorium in Santa Cruz CA. The fee for early registration is only $75 and must be received by 11:59 pm October 8th.
Last day to register is until 11:59 pm October 12th and that is $90.
