Marcus Vinicius Gets Fabio Negao To Fight At Affliction Event |

Marcus Vinicius is managing Fabio Negao to the July 19 Affliction event against Matt Lindland to be held at The Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. Fabio Negao has an 8-3 record
and trains at No Limits/Lotus Club in Irvine, CA. The main event will feature Fedor Emelianenko vs. Tim Sylvia.
Marcus is the owner of Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Club and is restarting his Professional MMA Team and Fighter Management.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Goes To The Silver Screen With 'Redbelt' |

David Mamet is the writter of Redbelt. A movie that brings brazilian jiu-jitsu to the mainstream public. David Mamet is a purple belt in brazlian jiu-jitsu
and trains at Street Sports Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Santa Monica for the past 7 years. Redbelt is going to be released this Friday (May 9) nation wide.

BHJJC Kids Win at No Limits Kids Jiu-Jitsu Tournament |

Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Club represented again at the No Limits Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Kids Tournmanet held in Irvine CA on April 27.
We had 4 students compete with 3 of them for their first time. We brought home 4 medals! Congratulations to all the competitors

Worlds Registration Now Open! Sign Up Early! |

Registration is now open for the 2008 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship. The tournament will take place on June 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th in California State University Long Beach, Long Beach, California. Sign up now under "Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Club".
The fee for early registration (May 1) is $92.00. The fee for registration (May 2-May 18) will be $107.00. The fee for registration (May 19-May 29) will be $122.00

Jungle Fight Returns To Brazil! Marcus Vinicius Ref'd 4 of 7 Fights! |

Jungle Fight returned to Rio De Janerio, Brazil after it's last event held December 2006. Marcus Vinicius was the official referee
for 4 of the 7 fights. He also serves as the Jungle Fight Referee Director and the MMA Brazilian Athletic Comission Referee Director.
His involvement has greatly contributed to the growth of mixed martial arts in Brazil.
The event, which is promoted by Wallid Ismail, has revealed stars such as Lyoto Machida, Fabricio Werdum and Gabriel Gonzaga.

Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Club instructor Marc Kompaneyets presents {Q^]~Z at the Verve Gallery starting March 29th thru April 26th. Marc is the first black belt student of BHJJC and Marcus Vinicius and also holds a
2nd degree blackbelt in judo. He teaches our grappling(No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu) class every Thursday from 8:30pm-9:30pm.
The opening reception will be hosted Saturday, March 29th from 7pm to 11pm.

The 2008 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championships are less then a month away. In February increased our sparring rounds from 10mins, 12mins, and 15mins we want to ensure that you
can go the distance and have the stamina to finish strongly. This month we will be training tournament styles. Starting from the feet, with 5 minute rounds and the IBJJF point system.
Sign up by March 15 to get the early registration under "Beverly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Club" and notify marcus. This month is dedicated to making sure all fighters are
ready by knowing all the rules, point systems and honing their jiu-jitsu.
